Father Bong said a few words at the end of each Mass this weekend in remembrance of our recently deceased brother Sir Knight Wayne Duguid. This was accompanied by a portrait of Wayne and flowers on a pedestal in the nave. The caption on the portrait, written by Father Bong, said,
Wayne Duguid
A Parishioner, an Usher, a Knight.
Rest in peace, our brother.
All the Knights in attendance gathered after the 11 AM Mass to honor Wayne, praying for him and taking a picture with the memorial – joyful and thankful for having had him with us for the time that we did.
